My low end Samsung died in under two years. I replaced it with Xiaomi mi2, which is still fine after two and a half years. My husband just bought Xiaomi. And I'm sticking with the brand. Best phone for the money.

Average guy, 27 Mar 2021What's wrong with cheap products? Most people in my co... moreI bought Mi9T in February,2020...best phone ive ever used... I used Infinix and an Iphone 7 plus before then... The Mi9T is very durable and always looks as good as new... No upgrade needed.. But I've been considering the Realm X7, Realme Q2 pro or the Oppo V15 as my next phone... The redmi series are inferior to the Mi series... So if any iphone user wants to try his hands on a Xiaomi phone, try any of the Mi series from Mi 9 to date... There isn't much difference compared to the iPhone... But the iPhone has a better camera and the sound quality using a headset on an iPhone is amazing

So xiaomi is the largest brand here followed by Samsung. Do apple or samsung flagship offer 5 times better value and performance at 5 times the price? Of course not. Diminishing returns. Xiaomi budget devices simply offer great value. For a lot of here, the price of even a budget phones is more than their monthly income.

Its not only that Xiaomi sells at "honest" prices, it is other companies selling at ridiculously high prices, that makes people think that they should come up with a conspiracy theory so it all makes sense.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2021I've heard someone claiming that the reason why Chines... moreNot sure about that but one thing is for sure the government truly help the companies in order for the company to succeed especially overseas (which is quite obvious) not just sure how they do it though with tech companies.
One example of this is that the government will tolerate any kind of action of the business just to make sure the business is having the maximun profit possible. (ex. Chinese fishing vessels illegally fishing on other countries' ocean while being escorted by the Chinese Navy)
So yeah that claim is likely possible too.

But i realized he do sell redmi note 10 for only 150 usd, with 1080p 120hz amoled screen. So conclusion even if no people buy the expensive 1000 usd, main selling is the 150 usd phone so no different at all. hahaa
