People roll their eyes at iPhones, that is not envy but contempt. And how can they feel threatened by them? You can't even throw an iPhone 4 at someone because it's made from glass.

Seriously all those law suits are slowing down the market at all Sizes and mesures..
but since Apple started this riot with the law suits i think all fair that Google/Motorola and Samaung should sue Apple..

Third of all, samsung would be NO WHERE without google. Samsung entered this market WAY after apple did.. and apple hasn't done anything different than they were doing since day one. Samsung on the other hand used to create completely different looking phones than apple, and now all of a sudden, they're phones begin looking like "rectangles with curved corners"...
why is it that NO other phone company has been accused of copying apple's "rectangle and corner" design? its cause ALL the other companies haven't tried to gain success based on apple's success.. and samsung has!
all you samsung and android fan-boys.. you hated apple from the beginning cause you ENVY them and cause you're threatened by them.

if apple is going to mess with google they will not win that war. motorola's worth is an endless list of patents. and for sure apple is violating some of them. even if this should not be enough to ban the iphone apple will lose alot of reputation. and finally some markets as well.

Uh-Oh! Now they've gone and done it. It's funny how Apple and Samsung's relationship has changed due to Apple's childish bulling. Now Samsung freely mocks the iPhone in their advertising. Expect to see more cases like this in the future. Hope Apple realise the forces at play here - Samsung, Nokia, Sony, HTC, Motorola, LG, Huawei and BlackBerry all make more than fashion statements - they make actual mobile phones and unlike Apple, have been doing so for more than a decade.

Samsung are doin there best to suck allthe juice out of apple and I say good on them coz apple r just greedy beeeeps and don't care about anyone but there self.
If it wasn't for apple iMacs etc.. then apple would be introuble coz there revolutionary icraps r a thing in the past and will never catch up to the big boys. I've never liked iPhones and never will. The only thing iPhone brought wat other phone company's didn't is a smooth OS but gingerbread came out then ics and now the power of JB, icraps have nothing else left..........

You can get weeks of uptime. iOS is very good at hiding errors and that is a plus for it, doesn't mean it is a lot more stable. Also, Android allows you a lot more customization, which means you can tweak everything from iptables firewalling to installing custom hacked apps and so on with little trouble. All that makes it a lot more flexible, but also more prone to problems if you don't know what you are doing.

Well guys if Apple sues Google over 4.1, i expect google to counter attack with Motorola witch they own, and Apple will suffer badly since Motorola owns most of the patents concerning mobile phones. LTE is another Apple does not have any patent of LTE development, so all other major companies can sue Apple and Iphone can be banned. Concerning the EU well they violated the EU rule concerning micro USB, so Iphone ban can be ordered by the European Commission if they send the US version like that here. My opinion is that Apple is entering a game they will eventually lose, the new Ipods are copies of Lumia design so Nokia can eventually sue Apple over this. All of this stupid war over patents is bad for consumers in the past companies shared technology and improved products now thanks to stupid Apple all OS and phone design are getting confined due to patents ownership like rounded corners stupid, stupid, stupid this should stop now! Apple is a company that copied designs for years and now is doing this, i expect in the near future that they will be isolated and will have to pay millions of dollars to others because they are attacking everyone out there, to Apple fan boys guys think about this for a minute Apple is destroying cooperation between companies and making everyone go to war is that fair or right???

And all the san... moreA physical product? Samsung knows what Apple is packing in that chassis. They know the hardware and the firmware it runs. You can rip off many things, not only interfaces and design, but also hardware and firmware that supports it.
Apple has been sitting on the shoulders of giants and bragging that they invented everything. Now it is time to pay too. Everyone is ripping everyone off, and Apple isn't - or ever was - different.
