I have heard several reports that putting too much thermal foam actually makes the CPU run hotter.
The design of the CPU itself is the most important and dictates the performance and throttling/thermals. I think the Dimensity chips have good sustained performance.
As in Apple’s CPU. The A13 throttled quite a lot not necessarily because it lacked passive cooling, but the CPU design, optimisation, etc. was quite wrong (it had high TDP just to reduce quickly) and thus fell behind several SD865 flagships. The A14 only throttles little (around 5%) and beats even the Kirin 9000.

As of now, no OEM shown to be successful 'reigning' SD888's heat.
And u expect the 'super cheap' Realme GT to be 'miraculously' good?

I'll put my money on Dimensity 1200 over SD888 for 2021, since Kirin is over, and Samsung 1080 or 2100 aren't available

Impressed with the specs but never will I buy a Realme phone. That 'Dare to leap' thing just sucks. It's cheesy and corny.

Every company cheats in benchmarks get over it.. Antutu score it's just a number, real life performance is something else.. The GT series seem to be the new star of realme.. I'm waiting for the price
