Anonymous, 25 Mar 2021It's at least $200 more than the redmi note 10 pro though...Doesn’t the Redmi Note 10 Pro use a Snapdragon 732G? The 870 is a much higher tier CPU than the 732G.

This is priced at 650USD at my country, where redmi note 10 is priced at 265 USD, realme pro 8 at 425 USD, so a big no here.

Same as any other mobile phone fella,5000mah battery would last me 2 days,your usage might be one day, everyone's usage is different,my battery is 4000mah,just wapping calls n texas last me 2 days,no social media what so ever, everyone's needs are different 🤳👍

The one you mention is the OV64A that has 1 micron pixel size, optical format of 1/1.34 and a 60% sensitivity increase.
The owners of this G100 i found mention that the image quality in low like is poor. So this phone is basically a SD870 for 500 euros if you prefer an LCD panel...
Sadly Vivo removed the periscope camera from their Global Pro. But their Pro+ with a SD888 and 5x optical periscope only cost 640 euros, is a good choice. Anyways i'll wait for the Mi Note 11. And watch how prices evolve along the year.

Nice overall package for some people who hated it that Redmi Note 10 Pro sacrificed beefier SoC for 120Hz AMOLED panel. IpsDisplay would grab this on first sale. Probably queue, too.

As for what this phone is, it's just a versatile phone for someone who wants solid performance with solid battery life for day-to-day tasks.
I agree the price may not be great (especially without stereo speakers) but Black Friday pricing could absolutely make this phone something to get as long as it gets Android One levels of software support.

Just checked the 5G bands and no 78?? That's one that's used in Europe so DOA if it doesn't have it

Good phone but needs €80 knocking off the price. For the same price you can get the Samsung A52 5G. Which has a weaker processor but has better cameras, ip67, 3 years of android updates and 4 years of security updates

Xiaomi is basically going for the flagship market with the mi series as that's where the high profit margins are. Would expect the mi11pro to be similarly priced to the OP9pro but the mi11 ultra will be more expensive. They priced the Poco f3 very competitively though.

The main camera is a mediocre Omnivision OV64B, the ultrawide for know unknown sensor with only 16 Mp, a depth sensor to fill more holes... Is not a phone for take good photos. Also no telephoto camera. With a mono speaker and a cheap DAC is also not for music despite the 3.5mm jack. So... Well is an SD870 for 500 euros with a mix of cheap components to fill their chasis frame.
The two punch holes, big chin and a back imitating several brands in a mix... makes it looks strange and ugly. Maybe that's the sales claim. There are people who buy overpriced strange things for some reason.
