I know everything must be turned off but then others things rely on it and have to agaain turn it right on.. You can do as wel on android probably you don't have android as now on , you can select use ''location ONLY while using the app'' once closed location is off..

Coz realistically, they don't even have to. They have their own things and people who want them will simply go with Apple no matter if some Android vendor offers billion GHz chipset with 24 cores.

A single, unified score based on both manufacturer value for best case scenario of A or B method they implemented, including PIN, Pattern and other when they are modified (would allow brand to implement new stuff, like drawing based pattern), and also based on user preferences so no one is forced into method A or B because certain person think A is better than B despite as much evidences that B is better than A.
Using multiple security method, biometric or not, at once, would add the score, though the score would be read on a logarithmic scale.
So rather than having X app forcing the user to use A or B method, you just use your favorite one and base on the maximum score the phone can provide with its included software and hardware, and what your current reading give, you are granted certain level of access.
This is TOTALLY different from a SINGLE security method using a pseudo score system that didn't allowed partial face until recently and only meant for a single hardware.

Face recognition uses scores, which means that the similarity doesn't need to be 100% to be a match. For example, if the threshold is 92% and the similarity is 93%, the software considers it a match. If the similarity is 91%, the software rejects it.

And the answer is pretty simple, Apple revenues come mainly from their devices sold (they do not need to sell your data). Google revenue comes 99% from their software (meaning data collecting and sharing to third parties). Exactly like facebook. Of course, they will mask it nicely in official statements and so on, just to make the general population feel safe. In reality, is completely the opposite.
Also, you probably never owned an iphone before. You can go into "settings-->privacy" and you can basically "off" everything that looks suspicious to you. You can't do that with Android phone, not 100% anyway (believe me I tried). Worse are the Pixel phones, because those use only google apps as default apps (which can't be uninstalled or disabled).
Anyway, I am not trying to convince anybody to do like me. Each person is entitled to choose his/her own path. I chose mine and is definitely not google in the future for me (no Android phones and no goggle apps, not even YouTube).

I purchased an iPhone X recently to see if my feelings about the phone as it has been presented to me through reviews and usage between freibds/family. I'm a phone not, I like playing around with new phones. However, nothing about the iPhone keeps me interested. A large part is the gestures, the back gesture to be specifically. I despise the iPhone back gestures. Android makes it seemless and easy, imo. Also... the security aspect is irritating. I forgot my pin and it took hell over high water to reboot it so I could get back in it.
I tried and now I'm pretty positive... iPhone are not for me.

Buying an Android phone can be so confusing as there are thousands of them. Buying an iPhone is easy. Using an Android phone is also confusing as it has too many useless features. Using an iPhone is more simple. Apple makes like easy.

Even now, after Apple announced the new privacy transparency in the upcoming IOS 14.5, facebook started a “total war” with Apple on this regard (because facebook lives and makes profit from users data tracking). Google on the other hand remain silent, because they don’t care and they know what they need to do. They will continue to track you on all their parent apps (chrome, play store, gmail, etc.) and Apple can’t do anything about those apps.
If you guys want more detail explanation look for “rene ritchie” video on this.
Bottom line, Apple is not great. But for me, companies like facebook and google are far worse. No android phones and certainly no google apps for me in the future.

Current Apple and Android : Force the user to use X or Y method.
People DON'T understand this, which is why they still badmouth face recognition, some even don't understand the difference between 2D and 3D face recognition.
It isn't my fault if you don't have the necessary ability of understanding, logic and analysis to deal with my comments.

For instance you can just install a counterfeit display on an iPhone, then copy the True Tone feature working or not. Many 3rd party batteries work on iPhones even if the battery cannot be verified. Critical parts are still easy to repair. Unless you damage the back, nowadays people have certain tools to repair the back panel without having to be sent to Apple.

Also Xiaomi does sell good products at a low price point, but often are overrated. Yes, specs wise they offer one of the best, even wipes Realme in terms of value-for-money. The quality is rather horrendous. Cheap as some model gets, phones like the Poco X3 NFC and Redmi 9T already have scalpers, purchase the phone and resell it at a higher price, also depriving the spare parts (this is a serious issue in Asian markets), and good luck getting a replacement unit should yours break.
I have also noticed a Poco F2 Pro user from AndAuth (Facebook) and there was something wrong with the frame and screen. MIUI is just as bad as RUI.
Not that I hate Android or Chinese brands and a iPhone fanboy. I like some of Huawei and Samsung phones, hate the SE 2020 and useless iPod. But some people just bashes Apple too much because they’re the no1 company and sell overpriced phones (no they don’t).
