Apple rumored to be working on rugged Apple Watch

They need a speci... moreI know it's not just "any" app. It has to have a companion app option, but if there is one, it gets installed automatically. Most smart watches only have their own main app that connects phone and the watch and that's it. If the feature is not in it, that's that.

    I have had the Apple Watch 6 since November. It's not the LTE model. I have AOD and notification sounds permanently off. I work out 5 days a week and screen brightness is set to maximum. I use 4 email accounts linked to it. A full battery charge lasts me on average 2 days. For the first 3 months I was using up about 32% of the battery daily.

      That will be nice to see

        So does that mean I may wear the rugged Apple Watch whilst engaging in rough and rugged fore play with my lady friends ? :-D :-P

Coz that's what Apple Watch can do. It's why it lasts less than all the other, lets be frank here, "feature watches". If battery life on smart watch is what you need, then you just need to pick that watch. Most can still work just fine with iPhones anyways...

                        Maybe add some rubber to resist shock and increase seawater corrosion and save cost.

                        Then the price will be between the standard Apple Watch and the sports model.

                          Intersting. Apple has the technical knowlege to maximize rigged aspects with innovative structural design on top of having acces to intersting materials. The rugged aspect may also mean strategically expanding the case so, a bigger battery, a different look and better heat dissipation (if thats even an issue).

                                    Rugged Apple Watch probably means different band ... and that's it.
