Xiaomi teases the Mi 11 Ultra with revolutionary cooling design

It uses all three states of the matter - solid, liquid and gas.

Kudos to Xiaomi for constantly innovating, whether in cameras or audio or cooling or gaming etc.

Honestly the pre-release marketing is a meme on its own, but most of the time manufacturers have at least the decency to show some testing results (most of the time it doesn't match with the real-life performance but at least it's something).

But saying something is "100% better" and not even including compared to what is just pure cringe.

Competition in China amongst domestic manufacturers is so fierce that they have to resort to stuff like this. Aggressive PR/Marketing that always announces some new breakthrough and novelty is a race to the bottom. Just because some component is improved or brand new to the market doesn't necessary mean it's implementation will live up to expectations. We've seen that numerous times especially in camera department.

What Xiaomi PR did here is very shallow. They announced new cooling system but they haven't answered the question why they need such advanced cooling in the first place. Does their phone heat up more than the rest or it does more than the rest in order to have such cooling. They didn't address that at all.

This is not prejudice either, they do stuff like this all the time, just like Apple, whom they copy in every way possible.

Xiaomi actually does push the envelope. Their sensor would be the biggest in phones yet and their battery would charge in 20 minutes all the while lasting for twice the cycles that apple batteries do (due to the graphite contacts).

Xiaomi talks the talk but also walks the walk. Apple gave up on the walk ever since jobs died, by now they are another clothing company masquerading as a tech company...

What's more important is pictures of the battery, we could work out the capacity. Unless the cooling system works like the one I was planning to do years back. Then the question becomes, why does somebody want them to succeed so much to give them multiple new technology releases off the block? Has this anything to do with the proposed ban?

Neither of those technologies is something they would develop. They are also only a small company, unlikely to be allowed access to too much. These are things big companies spend a lot on to buy in first. You see lesser tech floating around and turning up on lesser manufacturers.
