I have been waiting months for the Ultra. I won't be buying it though. I can't justify £1000+ on a smartphone....

      Wishin' my next phone would be this MI 11 Ultra.

      If only Xiaomi could commit to MORE regular, minimum 2-year OTA SW & Security Updates, buying decision would've been easy-peasy. Can anyone kindly HELP confirm that this is now the case at least for this top-tier device?

        Miui has the best theme store and customizations out of the box.

        I am currently using oxygen OS and used iOS in the past.
        IOS is a jokke when it comes to looks. Extremely limited customization.
        Oxygen OS is Meh when compared to Miui in terms of looks... Sure you can customize it more than stock Android, but it's still behind miui.

        Remember Xiaomi was a software based company rolling out miui for other Android devices before they launched their own phones. They used to make money based on their theme store. They are the best. No other android skin comes close to miui when it comes to theming and customizations.

          seems like mi 11 ultra has best camera, but a premium price though, wonder if it sell or not and more importantly, is MiUi nowadays world class to justify the premium pricing

                Judging some OEM camera app based on a device that is 2 years old with much inferior set of cameras.
                Sure the gcam will improve the quality further....but Xiaomi has already fixed their camera app last year. It's as good as Samsung stock camera app which used to be the best on Android.

                  Excited to get my hands on the undisputed 👑 King 👑 of 2021 smartphones.

                    If they do a port from Google camera, then Mi 11 Ultra will have a massive improvement there.

                    I myself have a Mi 9 and the Google camera just do miracles with the pictures. Not the built in Xiaomi app, thats a shame they dont improve it.

                        man c'mon, a smartphone camera sensor is a sensor!!! no need to argue. i don't get it.

                        the x50 pro+ from vivo had impressive images from the main gn1 sensor, so its even more impressive on the mi 11 ultra. with the power of ai and processing, it should be really good.
