As an OnePlus 8 Pro owner I'd like to say that this is my very first and last OnePlus device. Here is why: they failed to deliver Android 11. OnePlus 8 series owner scream in OnePlus community forum about how buggy update to Android 11 is. I'm still on Android 10 because with Android 11 on OnePlus you get a battery drain, worst camera performance and a lot of application crash issues. On top of that, they NEVER read their own forum, nor they answer there. Technical support just ignores any issues, and every update only fixes small bugs and issues.

This is why every Chinese manufacturers are mentioning it on their spec sheet.
There is no M series panels, zero information about M series on Samsung website

Got my Oneplus 7 Pro for the notchless/Holeless screen, if there whas a phone without a selfie camera I would buy it an instanse.
And since the 9 series still comes with a holepunch i got the Xperia 5 II, I had allready promised my son that he could take my 7Pro now when he turned 10 as his first phone.
Otherwise I would have kept it until the underscreen camera got widespread.
But the 5 II is great and I love the formfactor of 21:9, narrower footprint makes it much easier and comfier to hold.

My first oneplus phone (and current) is oneplus 7 pro.
Bought it because of pop-up camera,good looking screen and performance. Now from oneplus 8 ,every oneplus phone is boring and looks like others...

S21 Ultra's display consumes less power than any other E4 LTPO display which indicates that E4 is not the best that Samsung Display has to offer.

Samsung Display started to make oled panels for lower prices only for Chinese smartphone makers. Even Samsung A series uses M series but older versions. They never used e series Displays. And S21 Ultra uses 'M11' while OP, Oppo, Vivo, xiaomi etc., are using e4 oled panels

Oneplus has lost its design aesthetics and performance improvement w.r.t price trend. Just by increasing the price for every incremental model without giving valuable upgrades will not fetch any value. Last oneplus original design was Oneplus 5T all others are copy from Oppo sleeve.
