If Exynos were so good, there should be plenty of non-Samsung Android phones out there using them. Even if not the flagship high-end ones, then at the very least those mid-range budget ones.
Nope, they're mostly using Snapdragon chips, with the odd one now and then using Mediatek.
I rest my case.

I'll believe it when ALL Samsung phones that are sold around the world stop using Exynos.
All this trouble just to not pay the Qualcomm tax, and to make more profit by selling an inferior product (Exynos Samsung phone) at the same price as a Snapdragon Exynos phone.
Just stop already.

I bought an s20fe with an Exynos chip, sincerely i understood it would underperform against it's snapdragon cousin but the most taxing things i do send emails, open pdfs and execels and watch youtube so i thought I wouldn't even notice... After all my note8 was also an Exynos variant and it worked perfectly
Yet even in this low performing tasks the phone has times that struggles gets incredibly hot and throttles and the battery once it reaches 10% it drains in minutes and turns off before it even marks 1%
I did pay 350 dollars for the phone because the carrier had a promotion and as a 350 $ phone i can kind of give it a pass, but it's definitely not a 599 (price here) phone

Ah, so now GSMA confirms the "performance and battery life and camera quality delta between the two chipsets". After trying so hard to publish the articles, assuring people that there is no difference between SD and Exynos.

SD 865+ without the 5G network? Now that is intriguing. If Samsung can put the full Samsung Dex feature on the S20 FE 4G and not just having the Wireless DeX mode only, then it would be an easy solid buy compared to the current S21 models.

Even then my S20 FE 5G I had previously throttles fairly quickly, sometimes even worse than my iPhone 11 which is already bad.
Now that Samsung has the practice of sending golden binned units to reviewers that has unlocked CPU performance and hides the Exynos weakness. Glad few honest reviewers like TechTablets (he’s also a Xiaomi fanboy) notices this.

The difference in Exynos and Snapdragon mostly (not wholly) stemmed from the fact that exynos was manufactured from Samsung's semiconductor 7nm fabs while Snapdragon was on the TSMC 7nm fabs. TSMC's process was superior 10-20% depending on what metric you look at. But if you compare Snap 888 to Exynos 2100, its mostly the same (give or take a few) because both are on the same manufacturing process of Samsung 5nm.

The Exynos version shouldn't exist in the first place! Even the 2100 in the S21 lineup is total BS. I won't buy any new Samsung S series until they fix that

Oh tell Samsung that the S20 FE still have touchscreen issues. I had to sell mine at a loss because of this. I still have my purchase receipt fortunately.
