LG Q1 2021 guidance reveals record-breaking profits and revenue

The company is expecting quarterly revenue and operating profit to be “the highest in the company’s history”.

      I personally have one of their OLED TV's and it's one of the best monitors I've ever used. Plus I love their fridges lol.

        I have LG refrigerator, 2 LG Monitors. My neighbour has LG TV. They are of great quality. LG is an amazing company.

          Saved the quarter by not designing or selling any phones, must have turned off that fire they had in there for burning money...

              People are not aware of it but LG makes the best washing machines in the world. Period.

Mobiles might shift to wearables and AR stuff soon enough (in next 10years or so). My mobile space prediction: 1) for a time being, current manufacturers will satisfy most people, no groundbreaking ideas, no revolutions, 2) the next thing for sure will be foldables for the masses, 3) then some new battery tech will lead to powerful wearables, 4) then maybe eye retina (or contact lens) displays, 5) then Neuralink. End of an era. Then AI - end of humankind :D just kidding :D or am I? :D

                    I also expect it. Local households is being dominated by LG stuffs, from Aircons to Washing Machines.

                    Also with the growth in Console sales, I kinda Expect LG & Sony TV sales to grow as well.

                      Similar to Sony, but Sony decided to suport mobile and make it pocketable mirrorless, audio player etc. LG mobile future is a mystery.

                            Anonymous, 07 Apr 2021I like LG. They make some great stuff. Yep, you are right. For example they are making some very good TV's, they can rival Samsung easily. Their monitors are also good, I use a 4k LG for more than 2 years, and it is working well, my eyes are not hurting(previously I had a Samsung 4K monitor, and my eyes where hurting).
                            It is sad seeing their mobile division end like this, but I think they will actually come back one day.
