I bought it for 100 USD in China and it's great for small projects. Now I'm thinking on buying a 20W laser cutter/engraver.

It will help to absorb the laser and it will start to engrave, but don't expect a lot of depth. Clean away the whiteboard marker afterwards.

Have been using it for almost a year without any issues. The cons we have for this model is it engraving speed.

I’ve had it for 3-4 weeks now and still can’t get help on getting it to connect to my computer or my phone. It asks for a password and I cannot find anything about a PIN/password on instruction or the printer or the software. I have no idea how to move forward. But I am pissed because I’d like to use the engraver that’s why I bought it. I tried 0000#### and aaaabbbb like I found in forums but those didn’t work either.

I think laser engravers and 3D printers needs separate sections, to compare etc.

How about a revi... moreA full review at this point it time would be of quite limited value, since not many are actually considering picking up a Galaxy Note9 in 2021. I'll still try to summarize me experience with it after 3 years daily use:

It is still a great phone. Amazing hardware and very few slowdowns, even though I am an extremely heavy user. Not in the screen-on sense, but on the - I have over 300 apps, half of which are dodgy companion apps for various gadgets and cloud services. The complexity of my setup is part of the reason I tend to stick to a phone for as long as I can. The Note9 continues to be great on that front. However, I will probably be leaving it behind this year for a few reasons:

                                      - Battery life has started deteriorating, which is perfectly understandable given its age. I have been doing my best to be as gentle as possible on the battery over the years, which is why it still gets me comfortably through a day. However, I believe that with a modern 5nm chip and a bigger battery, I can get 2 days out of another phone, which I would appreciate.

                                      - I have noticed a rather odd discoloration pattern starting to pop-up on the OLED panel. A few horizontal stripes, in an oddly-regular pattern down the middle of the display. Hardly noticeable, mind you, unless you do low brightness grey in a dark room. They don't really bother me that much, but could get worse. I believe that I might have inadvertently caused them. For pretty-much all of the three years I have had the phone I have also had a Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector on it. I am usually very careful with my phone, but a few weeks ago It had an accident, shattering part of the protector, which I then took off. Then I started noticing the discoloration and remembered that the adhesive Whitestone use is UV-reactive in nature. So, my theory is that my OLED has been harmed unevenly over time by natural exposure to UV, since parts of the protector had denser adhesive under them.

Another major reason for not changing phones for me has always been the omission of features in newer models that continues to be a trend in the industry. I had a lot of issues letting go of the IR blaster on my Galaxy Note 4, for instance. Similarly, I really don't think I can let go of my S Pen. Here's hoping Samsung eventually put out a proper Note that i can jump on. If that doesn't happen in the next few months, I'll probably go for the ROG Phone 5.
