im pretty excited to see what is on the horizon; though, admittedly, i am not thus far impressed. i love the windows phone navigation. that and the camera and the music are the three things i care most about in a phone. i have no idea why a phone with the camera abilities of the one x doesnt come with a dedicated shutter button. that phone is awesome. the gsIII has an amazing camera, and a lot of other cool stuff that i dont care as much about, and yet no dedicated shutter button. it's frustrating precariously holding your phone up and having to poke a finger on the screen praying you dont mess up a good shot more than you do mess it up.

Good thing they are starting again with the core code.
Windows Phone 7 is build on CE
Windows Phone 8 is build on an NT hybrid core and from day 1 will handle up to 64 cores for future use.
Google it.
Android is a bloated mess with design issues from
day 1 causing the problems you see today.
They need to start again.

Nothing special about HTC Windows Phone 8X.
In fact it is a very boring W8 phone.
It is just a Lumia 920 clone.

Why is this supposed to be the new windows os and it looks the same as tge last one.Large boring tiles and uncustomisable operating system.Dead in the water before its released.To be honest they might sell 3 or 4 at the most.Anyone now is buying the new iphone.

I'm an iPhone user but it's good to see windows is making a comeback with W8 to give android a dose of reality that once there's more competition is that they can no longer flood the market with these crappy fragmented phones.

windows 7 have huge lag i deal with quadcore 3.4ghz 8 gb of ram.
jelly bean locks the animations at 60 fps so it doesnt lag .

when it wa... moreyeah android works perfectly without lag on ics with krait processors , it's just the first gen quad core processors that caused the lag especially with android not having been used for quad cores before.
just look at the htc one s , no lag whatsoever then the one x will have lag ( only because of sense)

If they moved forw... moreif only more peple were like you there both good options , good to see two decent os' competing for once rather thatn that piece of shit ios , but both very different os' so its good to see some more diversity in the marketplace , especially when it comes to os' , but very excited to see what win8 will hold , either gonna buy the 8x or one of the new nexus' that get released. lets see what the future holds :)

I didn't know that windows phones are quite expensive... the more reason i would not like to have a WP
