For your information, their last "flagship to use an 8 series chip" was only sold in 4 markets: USA, Canada, Taiwan and Japan. That's it, nowhere else, not even SK for some reason.

Doo, 02 Mar 2022i dont get why they won't give Q92 5G an android 13 up... moreBecause its a "midrange" phone, not a "premium" phone (as per LG terms)
But yea, the Q92 and the K92 should get the Android 13 update, coz the former is more like "LG Velvet Lite 5G" whereas the latter has capable hardware, and is a treat for users still using that phone

Lg k42 did not get any of Android update . It's worst software experience full of bugs and lagging device , worst ever camera optimization. Still it's in December 2020 security patch . Lg promise Android 11 update for K42 in q4 2021 but still no updates even in q1 2022. It don't think they will provide Android 12 for K42 but atleast provide Android 11 .

Today 23rd Dec 2021 I have received an android 11 update (Version: V30a) to my LG G8s in India. Now it runs very smoothly.

I own the 5G LG Velvet T-Mobile version and I received the Android 11 update about 2 or 3 week's ago, and after doing some research I found that not many LG phones were eligible for Android 12 and 13 updates but the Wing, Velvet 5G and Velvet LTE were most definitely eligible, well to me eligible isn't a guarantee so I'll keep my fingers crossed, honestly I was quite surprised when the Android 11 update showed up, I wasn't even sure I'd see that update so who knows maybe LG will come through and I sure hope so because I love my Velvet, it's been nothing but great right out of the box, and to be honest if LG pulls through I may just have to lean towards them when making my next electronics purchase. Just not a new smartphone Wich is a bummer because besides that joke of a phone the Wing LG seemed to be going in the right direction, be it a slow one but they were making better decisions and better phones. Kind of a dumb time to drop out of the phone market if you ask me, I think they should have put more into it but who knows.
