Xiaomi is reportedly working on new tablets with 11" 120 Hz screens and Snapdragon chipsets

12 April 2021
Tablets with high refresh rate screens are quite rare - almost as rare as Xiaomi tablets (the company has only made a handful of models).

[deleted post]But this year's exynos 2100 is actually competitive with Snapdragon 888, and it also uses marginally less battery.

Aparently there are not 2, but 3 potential Mi Pads.
        - One with SD 780G
        - Other with SD 870
        - And other with SD 860.

So I call them the Mi Pad 5G and 5G Pro (with 5G chips). Those seems to be exclusive to China for now.
The Mi Pad 4G might go Global and that would be the 1st global tablet from Xiaomi.

Peter-B, 12 Apr 2021Presumably, that one has an additional display driver too. ... moreThe ROG Phone 2 from 2019 and the Mi 11 Lite from last month both use 120Hz, with the first having an 855+ and the second having the 780g

It's always cool how Xiaomi makes everything with the same screen sizes. 30 devices with 2 different screen sizes. So many options to pick from.

Still would prefer samsung due to better tablet software

Laptops are still good for what they are, but I've seen so many younger generation nowadays doing most of their note takings and what not by their tablet. This pandemic is suddenly adding fuel to both the laptop and the tablet market space, which is a welcome change for once.

The snapdragon 888 can barely support 120Hz on a phone screen
it won't be enough for a tablet screen
that's why ipads still much better than android tabs
snapdragon should make stronger shipsets for tablets

Wait, the Poco X3 Pro got an 120Hz LCD and uses the Snapdragon 860.

                                lmao, tablet the forgotten segment.

Most people i see feels enough with phone and laptop.
Laptop nowadays is as light as tablet

Xiaomi prices are great, but real battery performance matters about as much as processing power. We will have to wait for tests, for now Tab S7 is the best(though without jack).
