Look up the FB and IG posts about the PUBG Mobile clan (BTR) who was invited to a tournament (PMGCO) in UAE. They initially refused a OnePlus 8T Pro and liked the iPhone Xs Max better, as they had to do a sponsorship. That iPhone won the previous national tournament. Do some Googling if you can’t find the related news.

      If I used a $100 Xiaomi or Realme with poor touch accuracy and performance (framerate), can you compete against some guy using an iPhone 12 with very low touch delay and better framerates?

      Studies already showed that higher framerates in PC gaming delivered better results compared those to with lower framerates. But that’s PC not mobile and mobile also favors input response times.

        Please watch Facebook livestreams and maybe some offline tournaments, count how many people use iOS device vs. Android.

        Most of the PUBG and COD Mobile livestreams use an iOS device, please just look it up.

        Or please just name a livestreamer using a Mi 10 Ultra playing COD or PUBG Mobile.

            A pub g player who practices 10hrs everyday will win against someone practicing 1hrs a day.
            Just because you give a gaming phone to the guy practicing for 1hr/day, his skillset won't improve compared to the guy practicing 10hrs a day.

            Gaming phones don't improve performance similar to cheat codes in video games.
            A terrible player will lose no matter which phone you give him.

                      The iPhone is still very popular among mobile games streamers, barely I’ve seen people using an Android gaming phone. I watch COD and PUBG Mobile streams on Facebook Watch quite often and the majority uses an iPhone or iPad. Not a RedMagic or ROG Phone.

                      Oven phone iPhone Xs Max used by an Indonesian team (BTR) won the Asian PUBG Mobile national championship not long back. Clearly the iPhone screen is Esports grade.

                        I'd still prefer an LCD iPad than it being AMOLED. For actual work beside my laptop, my iPad will be used as permanent display that I can use for 4hrs continuous and 8hrs combined SOT in a day. For people that does actual work with their iPads like development or just as SSH terminal monitoring/debugging, this LCD miniled is much better than an OLED without the issue of burn-in while doing actual in which the display will actually going to be used a lot. I just want a screen that actually display the things that I want whenever I want, whatever long I want, and whatever brightness I want it to be.

                          beep bop boop, 13 Apr 2021u just hate them because iPhones have 60hz displays, thats itNothing wrong with 60Hz, if the software is good enough. Iphones are smooth enough and the transitions are done correctly and without any lag. Of course 120Hz will be better, but is not mandatory for IOS. Even though Android fanboys are laughing about this lack of feature in iPhones.
                          Bottom line 60Hz on an iPhone is not as bad as 60Hz on some Android models who have poor software implementation (especially the budget models).
                          Of course, not so many Android phones nowadays with 60Hz, one the reasons being exactly what I said (poor software implementation and laggy UI's makes the usage of 90Hz+ displays almost mandatory).

                                Addressing displays as "Mini-LED" is so silly. It's LCD with mini-LED dimming zones. Calling something "mini-LED" should only mean actual display consists of mini LED's. No one was addresssing old LCD displays as "cold cathode" either...

                                  These things going to be real beasts, it looks like Apple doesn’t leave any room for competitors.

                                        That form factor allows you to grip is properly, so you can rest your thumb on the bezels. More space for battery given the increased size.

                                        So it should be a no issue.. if they use the latest chipset.

                                        Unless of course your main goal is to stare at the device's look all day.. instead of concentrating on the games.
