Their aim with harmony os is that all devices work seamlessly together. What's already out their devices is amazing so far.

JUST BY MYSELF. So I think, huawei can easily make new os, better than android in 1-2 years if they have some good OS developers.

Can anyone tell me for what huawei is banned by us (hence google), i mean all those allegations against huawei regarding collecting data is proved?or it's just a business rivalry ?

Huawei's situation is different from Microsoft and Samsung. Huawei is in a die or survive mode. It's under the US restriction ban. Microsoft and Samsung wasn't. Huawei is doing everything it can to make it work. MS and Samsung still can use Android on their phones. Please watch the September HDC presentation of HarmonyOS 2 and tell me where you see similarities to Android because in those three hours, the only thing that really mentioned Android were the steps needed to move Android apps to HarmonyOS.
I wouldn't put too much into the 'fork' claims because those who do so are using the word as a negative trait. If you want to go down that road you could argue that both iOS and Android itself are simple forks. That would not be incorrect either.
I suggest you look at the higher level aspects of Huawei or wait for it to arrive on various devices and then comment.
It might be a disaster or actually work. No one can possibly know right now.

The Petal apps are improving at an incredible pace. Far, far faster than either Google or Apple equivalents improved.
They are far from a joke though. No app is perfect right off the bat.
Petal search has morphed from an app search tool inti a full blown independent search engine (available via ALL platforms) in a matter of months. That alone is going to be a headache for Google because to get Google Search as a preset default on any HMS phone, it will have to pay for the luxury.
Although not ideal, you can run Gmail through Outlook, YouTube via web etc. The thing to remember is that neither Google nor Huawei went looking for this situation. It was forced onto them.
Huawei has no option but to react with its own offerings and they are improving literally on a daily basis.

I don't want Huawei to force me to install an operating system at the risk of losing the Google services that I have installed. Today the Google ecosystem is much bigger and better than Huawei's even though Huawei tries to get closer to Google. And what about P30 Pro devices that have GMS installed and that will receive Harmony OS ???

Btw the former CIA director Hayden is on the board of directors of Motorola.
