I wish they would start selling these in May. But phones will not hit the shelves before October. Proven by Sony for past years.

Again, will be sold in August (At least ?) when announced in April. Well, that's a clear bummer. Good luck selling these when the iPhone 13 is around the corner and a lot of Android folk are looking for a migration, tired of only Samsung / BBK / Xiaomi.

Seems to me these devices are moving more away from being phones and more in to mini gaming consoles and fancy cameras. The key differences between 1 (3) and 5 (3) seem to be the lack of ToF and screens in terms of pixels density, (643) v (449) neither equalling the XZ premium (807). So it needs to be asked whether the addition features warrant the price difference (whatever that is) Either way mobiles such as this are now more expensive than a very decent laptop - is this logical product positioning and pricing?

I was talking about new shortcut button and also making the phone as second screen or monitor for camera was reserved only to xperia pro and then added to 1ii and 5 ii with a11.

Surprisingly, Sony was able to add 500mAh more at the cost of thickness and negligible weight gain. Nowadays, phones feel like bricks. A variable telephoto sensor is really nice, having an edge compared to competitors at below 5x optical zoom. What a shame that Sony is still sticking with their last gen sensor when Huawei is having the bleeding edge from Sony themselves.

They do not want all specs out like samsung phones, which all info shows up 3 months before the event.
Sony factories do not make the mass production before the event, just after.

This year xperia line up is awesome.
Though even it has negatives.
Entire line up is super xperia 5 Mark 3 absolute replica to xperia z3. I love it.

soo again sony dissapointed their fans by adding smaller sensor then huawei and oneplus to make their fans sad and trolled by other fans who is using sony larger sensor. pls sony dont say u listen to your fans how many times we said u higher megapixel or quad bayer doesnt matter for us but we need larger or same sensor size camera sensor on the huawei and oneplus to whom u r supplying for sony phones also u have done everything good in this phone but all three camera sensor size are smaller than others soo u dissapointed us again in camera but if i sell this phone 1150 euro or less its ok if u r going more than that its high price with less camera sensor

Which is pointless, because those who want small screens won't buy the 6.5 inch version anyway, and it's too small for those who want a big screen. So, useless.
