I reserve judgement on sense, touchwiz and the rest though. I detest them more than anything else. It's nexus from now on for me

You want android, you buy nexus. No exceptions.

This is the exact same device as the Sprint HTC EVO LTE in the U.S., just a different color, minus the kickstand, and this device supposedly has a dual-SIM, where as the Sprint EVO LTE is a CDMA only device, and no support for a SIM. Everything else though, down to every last spec is the same device, and is also identical in appearance. Nice device, but nothing "new." Been available here in the States for quite a while now, and it has horrible battery life, just as a heads up. I have a few friends who work in Sprint corporate retail stores, and also their repair centers, and although they say this device is fairly well made and they don't get many back for repairs, but they say people complain about battery life and it being non-removable, and also no expansion slot for extra storage space. However, this version comes with a much bigger internal storage, to that of the Sprint USA model, which is a plus. Only downside now will be the battery still. Other than all that, it's one of the nicest devices available right now.

I looked the phone up in HTC China (http://www.htc.com/cn/smartphones/htc-one-xc/) and it is listed as a dual core (or Google minstranslated that page horribly)

Exactly, there is nothing beastly about this device...you got small name companies in east Asia releasing smartphones with the Quad Core S4 Pro processor and adreno 320 gpu that cost only 2 thirds the price, now that's beastly m8....
These big companies are now just over hyped and you got small companies who give everything the customer actually want's...competition is what takes us to the next level...

why didn't they put JB? By the time they release a JB update, there'll be a newer version of Android
