AnonD-940827, 15 Apr 2021Rog phone 4! Asus isn't Chinese. Taiwanese still counts for language purposes and that's the basis behind "skip 4". I believe Japanese also has similar, but also a completely different alternative word for 4 for that reason.
Anyway, I'm hopeful for the UK release. As long as it really is impossible to break it in a case (I always have mine in a case). Would definitely at least consider it for my phone replacement later this year...

Seeing their Android updates situation, I wouldn't touch Asus.

I like Asus because they price their products reasonably and not an absurd amount unlike some other companies to make their phones look more premium which they often aren't. Nor do they keep on increasing the prices with every new iteration, also their phones pack a lot of features and it's well justified at the price they sell it at

Really nice prices. Even with all that debate about bending, which let's be honest, who bends their gadgets like that, unless you especially want them to break.
If those prices will be globally too, Asus did a good job on that part.

Perfect pricing for India. Normally Oppo, Vivo and other brands overprice their products when bringing it to India.
Hopefully the Zenfone 8 series arrives in the country, and is priced decently.
