vivo takes the smartphone market lead in China in week 11

I bought a Vivo Y11 3gb/32gb for my 3 yr old son so he can watch youtube and netflix. I just started tinkering with it and updating it to the current funtouch os. What I can say is Vivo is very good when it comes to optimization, this has a snapdragon 439, but is very smooth, swiping from left to right you can tell the ui is not that laggy. I have a redmi note 7, it used to lag, until it was updated to miui 11. Miui is known as a heavy skin, compared to its rivals emiui from huawei, color os from oppo and funtouch from Vivo. I've also noticed this Y11 is very good at getting wifi signal, I'm in our bedroom and it still can detect wifi. My honor, xiaomi is not able to get a signal. So kudos to Vivo for that.

..I owned a vivo y11 and got a update from android 9 to android 11 last 4/12/21, and I can say that its a big jump for a 2019 made budget phone, updates are good signs that they are consistent, for a market shares its also a consistency, economy plays a big rule in a company and vice-versa, investments, research and development the head of this brand thinks hard and almost no sleep at all..

Their phones are usually inferior in terms of hardware to Xiaomi because they have to offset the high marketing costs with cheaper parts. We can see this in Vivo and Oppo since years ago and even Realme is now following this trend. If you ask me, I rather have better hardware that Xiaomi is providing rather than paying for BBK's marketing costs.

All their flagship phones are out of stock in China and only available through limited flash sales. People will probably get fed up with this eventually and switch to other brands

Tbh, vivo is the unique one compared to their other sister companies ... plus, vivo might have less traces of color os in their software.
For me, oneplus, realme & oppo are similar to each other.
