The said one billion dollar from MS to Nokia for choosing WP is probably just the tip of the iceberg, those deals struck in the country club bar between former colleagues in suit and tie doesnt come without benefits.

I can understand 920 price (camera, screen, head phones and ect), but 820 price is too high, very high. I'd better get HTC 8X for the same price as Lumia 820.

I have seen many ppl aruging that Nokia camera and display blow this and that out of the water.
But what many persons failed to realize although this may be true, more and more persons buy phones these days with alot of app support. Main example is Apple, that is why apple still have such strong followers, and the same goes with android.
although the lumia camera maybe the best (opinion to some). the top contenders which is Apple, Samsung and HTC at the moment doesnt feel threatened because they all have very very good app support and their camera capabilities arent far off from Nokia, certain aspects person argue about NFC.... seem to forget HTC and samsung devices already have it, along with Android beam.
But i do however wish nokia success. but just dont think that the scales will tip overnight.

we all know that iphone is a over-priced phone and 16gb iphone 5 cost only $649 whereas lumia's are going far over the iphone.it is such a bad price for nokia. we use nokia coz we get a balanced phone which is not so pricey and also can do almost all things we do but here is Nokia's another self destructive decision. I don't think the production cost is as high to make the out-of the box phone so pricey

I prefer lower priced note 2 with better unlimited smooth 60 fps ui rate bigger screen more apps and graphics and s pen

friends just chillax this is nokia`s strategy for a very long time to steeply price their flagship device and later give a good drop same goes to N70,73,95,97.N8,N9,LUMIA 800 ETC.

Nokia please do not mistake like befor ! I mean like nokia lumia 800 when nokia released it the price was so high :-( yes nokia lumia 920 is good device :-) and also lumia 820 but let all people testa windows phone 8 :-) first focus on the price :-) nokia all the best :-) ! I knew to mobile market and i found sony killed the price of all devices :-( high end mid end low end :-( ! Also samsung nexus the price was so cheape !

Can't wait to get one, I hope the price will be about the same in Turkey too. That's a fair price for a such phone, but thinking this is just the pre-order price, i hope we can get it even cheaper.

A full set package of Lumia 920 with JBL NFC Wireless Charger Speaker + Monster NFC Headphone + Nokia Luna Headset + HDMI cable out of the box. That would be fair enough for the pricing

The 920 looks like a great handset, but Nokia is not in the position of asking such a higher markup over the, let's say, SGS3 or HTC One X.
Nokia has put a lot of effort on this phone, most of their eggs (as a cell phone vendor) are in this basket. This could as well be called the Nokia Final Fantasy 920. This price is far from the competing level they need. Even when it will drop down for sure, I wish'em good luck to impress the median European buyer with that pricetag/hardware combo at launch.
A more appealing offer is needed now. Then they'll be able to recover the investment after market and top of mind setting is regained. Don't do this to yourself Nokia.
