I've got two Huawei. The first one is P9 and today I have almost a two and a half years without any problems Huawei Mate 20 Pro. I'm sure that my next phone will be also Huawei for 5th generation. The quality of this phones are great.

Basically all data that is collected will be delivered to advertisers just like Google does.
Lol... And some people here think they were better off leaving Google and their advertisement programs.

I casually brought a HMS phone(Device-HLK-L41 9X pro) as a secondary phone & what I observed was a lot of free applications which depended on Google Adsense for ads don't display ads in Huawei .

I think Huawei is doing a great job with their app store.
Their phones are outstanding and while they lost out on GMS, they are still great phones.
I prefer a phone with GMS, but I could live without.
Maybe my next phone will be a Huawei, again.

The main task that Huawei has to do is to reach a new deal with the new Biden Administration to certify its devices with Google Services again.
It is the only way to recover the huge lost market share in Europe and America.

Huawei beware! Subjecting your customers to a stream of intrusive adverts is a certain way of destroying your reputation and business. I won't buy any Xiaomi or Samsung products because of their aggressive and abusive 'baking in' of adverts into their operating systems.

Will this partnership with companies allowing ads meaning that HarmonyOS will be bloated with ads? Just like MIUI? I don't mind ads, as long as they don't disturb me.
