Samsung starts selling the SmartTag+ in South Korea

Unlike the vanilla SmartTag, these use the more accurate UWB tech. The Plus model was supposed to launch in the US this week as well.

I think the idea is that if you find your item soon enough with the help of the tags, you will have a higher likelihood retrieving them. Not to mention with the + model, you can see in AR where the device physically is on a map..pretty impressive.

          I'd like to have these, but the price is ridiculous. Should cost 5x less.

            Maybe times are changing but you barely need these over there. High chances your lost stuff gets returned to you or you go back and actually pick it back up where you dropped it.

            Yes, saw people just passing by a phone lying on the sidewalks.

              Good job Samsung now that's one piece of tech that I need to get my hands on.
