A72's telephoto zoom isn't used at 3x zoom for photos. Telephoto Lens is used only after 15x zoom. But in video mode it correctly uses telephoto lens. I have checked by covering lens at all mode. Is anyone having such bug??

But people keep complaining that glass feels more premium and plastic feels cheap. I'd rather have my 'cheap' plastic back the the broken glass back on my LG G7 😂

Glass is not a premium material. It's one of the cheapest that can be produced. But also one of the easiest to break... And putting this at the back of a device (that you use everyday), makes it slippery & needs expensive replacements when it breaks, since it's glued together (planned obsolescence).
What's the point of having a glass sandwich phone? 95% of people put their phone in a cheap protective plastic case anyway (for safety reasons).

Really looking forward to see the camera performance since it has that 3x zoom telephoto sensor with OIS, which happens very rarely in upper midrange segment. The last time I remembered seeing that was the Motorola Edge and the Motorola One Zoom.

Or Ultra? Even Galaxy A series from 2015 had alu back and frame, Galaxy A series from 2016-2017 had glass back and alu frame.. Now? Plastic phone for 300-400 euros haha
At least, there is a charger in the box, i bet, A series next year will be without charger☺

Samsung design department) and Nokia phones used Aluminium in their construction. Tablets are still fragile with Aluminium and so do Apple's products that have it

But i doubt it will come back again. Currently only premium Tablets like the iPads and Samsung Galaxy Tab have an Aluminum back.

This is my future phone to replace my good old cheap & tired Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus
This device seems good but currently overpriced, under 400e like 380 is a fair price for me. Already findable at 405 only one month after it has been released at 450~480, price should drop a lilttle more at A82 announcement, should be ok next month

Besides the "premium feeling" you don't gain anything else (expect the expensive replacement costs, when it's gonna break).
Did you saw the recent Vivo flagship, the X60 Pro+? Even that has a plastic back. Vivo calls it "vegan leather" for some reason. Or the S21 5G.

hey folks
just a little reminder:
this phone costs the same as the two year old s10+ flagship.
the s10+ has better build quality, better cameras and overall package.
don't buy the a72 4g, get the s10+ for the same price.
this thing goes for $440, and the s10+ goes for around $350/$400.
you'll regret it when you already bought this phone and only found out that the s10+ is basically better for cheaper.
