        And as for loosing the war, Apple is the most valuable company in the world, and IOS is doing pretty well from both a consumer response and fiscal point of view.

              This is an article about updates to ios, it really has nothing to do with android. So here is a tip, nobody cares what your preferences are, or how much you detest one or the other, that's important (for some reason) to you alone. So you do you, and accept the fact that yours is only an opinion, nothing more, and others might have a different point of view.

The usual argument and then you just hope someone else will do inspection for you. Just because something is closed source it doesn't mean people can't inspect things or tear them apart.                         iOS being close sourced and so restricted had no chance of survival.

                        Android managed to make computing much more convenient and easier considering the fact that other manufacturers were given the freedom to make devices and gadgets with the operating system. Once I got to know Android was open source and to be distributed among different manufacturers, I knew this will OS of the future and this will be the "People's choice" on smartphones.

                            The settings>privacy>location services exist on Android too, no need to go and change individual apps. This is why you need to stop reading articles on Android, instead use it personally.

                            Android allows user security in their own hands by allowing advanced users to get administrative privileges, you can't do that on iOS.

                            Plus on devices with color OS, you have protection features where empty list of contacts, calls, other data, etc is sent to apps like truecaller, payment apps which need permession to these for working, etc.

                            Also so many Android skins have feature called as second space to give you two profiles on the OS thereby protecting your personal data when you hand over your phone to someone.

                            As usual iOS users will call all these features half baked and gimmicks until they get it on their phones.

                              One can block access to Internet for these apps through firewall.
                              All user experience program and other analytics can be disabled in settings.
                              Congratulations, you just stopped majority of the Google spying.

                                    this is the single most irrational comment in the history of this website. Both iOS and Android have their pros and cons and they both trade blows, but apparently you android fanboys dont have the mental capacity to wrap your head around it. I was just acknowledging what the guy said about android being based on Linux because that was something i did not know, but like i said, you dont have the mental capacity to see that. You guys just go around Apple news comment section and boast about how android is SO much better when in reality they are more neck and neck in terms of features and overall daily use.
