Anonymous, 03 Jun 2021SM-G780G Im confused..its chipset 865 snapdragon 5g but ... moreIt has the same SD865 chipset as the 5G model, just that it lacks the 5G modem and hence will not be capable of 5G connectivity. Personally I think that giving up 5G to give your wallet some room to breathe is worth it, especially if you live in a country that barely even has 4G like me.

Here in India the S20FE 4G exynos variant costs €390 while the 5G variant costs €500.

What about ppl who spent their money on the trash Exynos version :(... like me :'(.
Every S20 FE Exynos version has the worst ever battery and heats up really bad...
GPU SUCKS BIG TIME. I played Genshin Impact on highest graphic settings on Xiaomi Note 9s (SD 720G), worked smoothly.... Same game on my S20 FE (Exynos) I had to play on Medium settings even then it suffered so many lags.

Please explain these 'problems' in detail as you obviously own this device too. I've owned this phone for 4 months and have received updates and experienced no problems with this phone, in fact for the £199 I paid for it it's the best phone I've ever used for specs to price value.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2021In Dubai the S21 5G around 640$ now, and you say this junk ... morePricing varies from country to country. Dubai has one of the lowest price of phones so don't compare Dubai price with European price.

I have been using since December and haven't had any heat related problem. Obviously i don't play games with my phone but for daily usage, i usually get 31-32 degree Celsius. After 30 minutes-45 minutes video call it goes to around 38-39 degrees.

Do you get more than that?

its so expensive, the ex 990 variant has already so expensive now the 865 is no different, why even a 870 device can be much cheaper as cheap as half the price

Is it worth twice a poco F3 wh... moreI fully agree with your comment, I guess that Samsung is taking the initiative that Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco has no real competitor in their price segment and took the chance, that a consumer might go with a more established brand like Samsung even for a phone that cost twice as much.

For Mid range or upper midrange , xiaomi and its sub brand are dominating , even new realme seem bland in comparison and this is just the 1st half of the year :)

Sounds like a good buy to me despite not having a 3.5mm audio jack and wired DeX capability.
