Wether it's a BB or Android, they keep on complaining about that lag issue, I donlt know what they are doing on their phone. I've been using BB for almost 3 years now and never experice that lag issue specially on OS7, even though my memory is almost full.
BB10 is coming, well at least another choice of mobile phone in the market.

why cant everybody see that what RIM accomplishes in perfecting the BB10 OS?
this could bridge the simplicity of WP and functionality of android or ios..
of course, bb platform still needs a lot, i mean A LOT of decent apps to survive

I use BB 9700 (work phone) and an iPhone 4s (private).
Honestly, BB 10 has to be much better than iOS, otherwise I would never even look at a BB 10 device.
iOS is so much more software, you can surf the net, etc.
BB is crap, only good for e-mail and to call, that's all.
I really hope RIM understands importance of having a really WOW OS, far better than iOS, otherwise...R.I.P.
P.S. And the price has to be far lower than iPhone 5, otherwise I will always choose an iPhone.

nico, 30 Sep 2012Well I am really happy for terrific specifications around b... moreNot gonna happen if you're hoping for some buyback rebates. Outside of NA this isn't normal practice and to top it all off I don't think RIM will be willing to set aside the cash. And that's assuming if partnering telcos are willing to foot the bill which is highly unlikely. RIM just lost $235mill in this latest quarter and that's on if you look at current BB lineup's OVERPRICED RRPs. Even the offset didn't cut that loss down.
This is 1 of the reason(s) why I criticize the ridiculous BB7 stopgap measure. By stopgap I meant that the BBs affected should have been well specced enough to at least be capable to run the earliest BB10 builds. And I don't even use a BB! These BB7 devices literally rendered obsolete MONTHS later via the CEO's own declaration that there's ZERO upgrade path from BB7 to BB10.
I'm a fairly level headed Android user who thinks that loyal BB users deserve far better treatment.

im happy for blackberry, but they shouldnt have their hopes up, especially in this kind of economy where even windows phone is still having a hard time reaching more users worldwide despite the fast growth of apps, while people are being brainwashed by apple and seduced by androids openness. confidently speaking 'we're gonna be the 3rd platform' is unlikely, but possible. with windows phone having varieties from different oems, and with oems tech and marketing schemes implemented (eg. beats, pureview, design), its clear that blackberry wont stand against this. specs are on par with wp8 devices, but despite the variety of the phone, well. good luck bb.

Yes it's perfect ,Lag is now fixed. (ICS was perfect as well i've heard)
Those that post video of it still lagging on youtube or say it still lags are trolls or just using too many apps, or maybe haven't done a full reboot to clear out the cache properly. They have no right to show the lies.Jellybean is 100% perfect

AnonD-58527, 01 Oct 2012Yes everyone knows the hardware spec increases were needed ... moreYou talk for nothing, project butter was introduced because they have a valuable update to show, not like ios 6 where there is nothing tangible, I'm actually fed up of arguing with iPhone users, your all blinded and try to convince others that the iPhone 5 is innovative when we all clearly know that your insulting yourself by buying a "new" product that is simply old
