After the new spec bump, nothing short of MacOS is worthy of the ipad pros now. I bet they wont even get the makeshift app drawer folder organizer that the iphone did get. Let alone a proper file manager. I'll be glad to be wrong.

I'm in my mid 30s now and I just don't need any of the "cool" customization functions or ability to install unverified apps. I just want something that can keep me connected with the people I know.

I don’t care about ecosystems or anything like that. That’s just a marketing term. It’s for Apple shills or people stuck with a platform. I’ll hear the same rhetoric how Android copied iOS blah blah blah or how it’s laggy when my og Pixel 1 on 7.1.1 was the smoothest experience I ever had for a mobile platform.
I prefer Android for the variety and customization. I don’t like having the same phone everyone has. But the only reasons why I returned to iOS for my daily driver is for iMessages. It’s easier to send MMS to my friends and family that way. And also because of my Apple Watch.
I’m more focused on health and exercise at age 40. Not fanboy flame wars which is a waste of time throughout my teens with Sega vs. Nintendo vs. Sony vs. Microsoft to my 30s with iOS vs. Android. People are arguing over phones and which companies they prefer which is ridiculous. Do something productive with your lives instead.

Or vice versa. That will never happen. But still, some people are trying to impose their opinions on other people.
Like you said, people should use what it's more comfortable for them and what suits them best. And should understand they are not less intelligent just because they use a certain brand or just because some random person on internet told you so.

Android copied iOS but iOS copied Android and things from webOS and BBM. Fanboys everywhere on this site. Android has done notifications far superior to iOS since Day 1. And I’m typing this on my iPhone 12 mini. I’ll switch back to my Essential Phone for most comments since SwiftKey is far superior on Android than on iOS.
Google and Apple are no different than politicians. Don’t trust any of them. They don’t care about any of us. These are just phones we dispose every few years. Used iOS for 13 years Used Android for 10 years and prefer Android more. But who cares? It’s almost like users are condemned on preferences. If I prefer salmon over chicken, I should get blasted for it, right? We shouldn’t care what others prefer.
