For that bike meter is the only option with bigger screen & lot cheaper/ better. Usually we carry phone along bike so it can connect directly to ant+ or Bluetooth sensors. Sports watches r most useful in running or swimming where we can't carry much.

Have Garmin Venu.. after a year of use must say that this is my last Garmin product.. so bad connectivity.. Samsung watches are so much better that Garmin users who never had Samsung watch can not even imagine what difference can be..

I have first Venu for a year now and it's really an excelent watch. Battery life is about 4 days for me with AOD turned off and about 1hr of GPS daily. HRM is always on, but Ox is turned off. Venu 2 is not enough for me to upgrade, but I'll buy Venu 3 in a year.
