Anonymous, 24 Apr 2021Android laughing it's way to the bank with 4.5 billion... moreLet me get this straight. You're comparing dozens of Android manufacturers to Apple and you think in a few years there just won't be an iPhone anymore? You really think that Apple, the richest company in the world, is going to simply retire its strongest profit driver simply because competition exists? That's the mental reality you live in? Alarming.

[deleted post]He must be losing his mind because Apple was forecasted to sell 240 million iPhones this year. I happen to be one of the buyers.

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Didn't want the iPhone 12 Pro Max or the Note 20 Ultra Exynos version. It's great using good phones from each OS. Next year I'll get either the Galaxy Note 22 Ultra or if that fails to materialize the S22 Ultra. Was initially waiting for the Note 21 Ultra. The subsequent year will be my iPhone year. The market has matured and IMO I can get 3 good years quality service from my phones. Incremental changes in new subsequent models add up over a 3 year period. People should learn to be happy with whatever OS device they use.

[deleted post]They make the best tablets and watches. Of course they should be respected. They were also the first to get rid of the chin bezel.

If you can, the best is to have both an iPhone and a good Android and you get the best of both worlds. That's it.

So much hate, for nothing in the end. I am sure no iPhone user cares about this hate towards Apple. If they would had cared, they would have stopped buying iPhones and Apple would have been where Sony is now. I am sure that's every Android fan dream in here - Xiaomi no.1 and Apple in the "others" category.

because OLED has two subpixels compared to 3 in LCD. apple does the best color calibration in LCD. quite possible.

AnonD-994147, 24 Apr 2021Majority of iPhone users don’t even come to this site. And ... moreI came back to android with S10e and was quite happy with it. but the battery life was poor with exynos, then after a year found a good deal with S20FE thought that the battery life would be good enough. But its a bigger phone and the battery life is not quite good as I expected, so I dont want it. trying to sell it and planning to get a 11 pro. One UI is good and I like it, but unless I find a smaller phone like S10e, probably I wont be back to android.

the truth is, android has more features but I think what ios provides is enough for me.

                      [deleted post]why so jealous?

apple has one of the best build quality among phones and low tier company? apple's profit alone is bigger than the revenue of your beloved company.

only truth you said is it has a cult like fanbase who would buy no matter what apple releases.

but its also right that apple achieved it. Most of the others tried following apple and failed. for example, samsung does everything as apple does, xiaomi even designed their miui a ios copy.

Actually, you'll notice that the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max models are missing in the March 2021 breakdown. It's likely that the Pro models have their numbers included under the "11" model, which explains the spike in iPhone 11 sales.

We are bombarded everyday with ads talking about Ultra HD, 4K, 8K, TV's, monitors, screens etc even if we don't care about it, we are seeing it everyday in the streets in the TV in the internet.
