Analysts: iPhone 12 series makes up 61% of Apple sales in the US, iPhone 11 still on top individually

A year ago the vanilla iPhone 11 made up a third of iPhones sold in the US. Its sequel, the iPhone 12, now makes up 24% of sales.

It's not just about holding the phone. Typing is extremely tricky, content consumption feels more to be desired, all these compromises are not acceptable just for the small form factor

      Personally, I don’t see the reason of such small phones with small batteries. But maybe people interested in such small iPhones, are just using them rarely and only for basic stuff. This would have been another reason for poor sales of the iPhone 12 mini, people didn’t want to pay so much money just for basic usage.

            The only good iPhone (sans the battery size) is the 12 mini for being unique on its own due to its size, and yet, its the worst selling. Goes to show the mindset that the usual Apple buyers have: the bigger and more expensive is better

                Lmao, pathetic 12 mini sales, and people say they absolutely love mini phones.

                  United States have successfully blown away Huawei and entangled other manufacturers with carrier BS.
                  End result is that there are hardly any options other than Galaxy and Pixel.
                  Afcourse the iPhone will lead the sales.

                  In other parts of the world, where plenty of options are available (The Real Smartphone Marketplace), iPhone marketshare is laughable as people can easily distinguish between a better phone from an overpriced inferior one.
