Asus Zenfone 8 will become official on May 12, promised to be "compact in size"

We're expecting more than one phone, and a Zenfone 8 Mini has been rumored a lot.

          I'm using the asus zenphone from last 3 year continuously nothing will be better then asus. It's combination of hardware is too good

              Performance, thick bezel and notch 60hz ils display, battery, cameras (with gcam), stereo speakers, charging (0 - 42% in 30 minutes), software updates all satisfy me.

              While the downsides of build quality is fine to me, since i don't use case amd there is barely and scratches or dent

                    A phone with an almost six inch screen cannot even be called a compact phone. Relatively compact perhaps but not truly compact. Only the smallest iPhone 12 is a true compact phone but let's wait for the Asus

I follow the news of Zenfone Mini since the first time I saw them, and I don't think it would be much more than 600 euros, so it will probably be my future smartphone.
                      Phone Arena said that the dimensions could be around 148x68, which doesn't seem "Mini", but it's better than nothing.
                      Also, if they keep the flip camera, I'm sure that this phone will be successful

                          Hope for optical stabilization, Qi charging, 3.5 jack, flip cam (no holes\notches), less than 190 gram weight, flat screen. Ok, agree, I want Xperia 1 III, but cheaper.

                              Definitely looking forward to the Zenfone 8 Mini. About time we see the comeback of a compact-sized smartphone on Android.

                                Any display below 6" with minimum bezel is great.

                                >>Front camera:- 16MP or 20MP.... With punch hole on the left or dew drop in the center.

                                >>Must have 3.5mm jack with DAC support. (Stereo speaker preferred)

                                  Honestly 150x70 (+/- 2mm) is perfectly compact, yet idk y many people want to go even smaller (12 mini or more appropriately Xperia Compact territory)

                                        I'd say that's pretty compact today for a flagship.
