[deleted post]Huawei used to be. But now the lack of gms is sad. Oneplus also tries to do the same. But i can't accept an $1000 phone without any meaningful innovations or anything new. S21 Ultra still offers an s pen experience which is very rare, 0.5x to 10x optical zoom experience as well as zoom lock which isn't found on most competing products. Where as apple and Oneplus doesn't have anything innovative other than their software and design. Huawei is being replaced by Xiaomi, which has many innovative techs, so i don't mind they charge for an thousand dollar

Best foldable currently is Huawei mate X2. Even the liquid lens amd oxygen battery in Mi Mix fold which seems ridiculous at first, but the whole package is less than Mate x2. Xiaomi compromised display quality, wireless charging, charging capabilities, camera system, and camera quality for an $500 cheaper price than the Z fold 2. But it is a hell lot cheaper than the Mate x2.

Just don't expect that mobo to last for long AT ALL, though! 😱

Well I do not speak chinese but on the poster its writen "40". you sure this doesnt mean 40k instead of the reported 400k in your text? kind regards

This is a great achievement for foldable phones, but I think most foldable phones coming out this year would have this part covered down to a science. I would be more interested to see how these screens survive harsher temperatures other than some controlled tests in controlled lab environments. The last Z fold 2 had a number of complaints with screens (or their UTG) cracking under colder weather. I am hyped for the rumored IP rating on the new Fold 3, but would the screen durability in terms of temperature also show an improvement? We'll just have to wait and see.
