Anonymous, 27 Apr 2021I hope this update will deal with the camera quality differ... moreImpossible necause is hardware thing.
Spectra is better ISP than one inside exynos.

walkman8, 27 Apr 2021I'm not complaining about the extremely regular update... morewhat is all your pain for? Haven't you got wifi? It isn't like your storage is reducing. And camera had been improved severally. Specially on potrait mode and colour rreproduction.

        I have a s21 5g 256 gb
        model
        Bought it in feb

Battery life was superb SOT of 5-6 hours

Then came updates and now I get no.more than 4 hours of SOT

Plus I don't know what camera updates they make but my camera has blurry image when taking videos in my home I mean it's camera is overrated for sure!!!

Just hate the battery life !!! 4000mah is poof!!!

Only weirdoesss update their phones, unless if it ain't broken , don't update.

90% off users call text browse without any issues, it's nerds geeks who have no life spend their whole day on the phone or phone addict who care about updates.

I updated, and it worse sever battery drain , lags stutters even S888 16gb ram has software issues on latest android.

I had to root back to the original out off the box firmware, which drains 2% battery on optimised mode in 8 hours, when the latest update drained 6% in 8 hours.

            Really sucks

              Bravo Sammy! 👏

walkman8, 27 Apr 2021I'm not complaining about the extremely regular update... moreFor us impatient people that download the firmware ROM every month it's about 7.5GB xD.

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2021Performance of the camera has been improved, they say this ... moreI can actually spot the difference. I take some of the photos at the same place at same time of the day.
Comparing the photos with first firmware and latest firmware (April patch), I noticed that the background objects are much sharper with less noise and greenery in the background has more accurate colors. I'm not so sure about differences in video as I rarely record them

I hope this update will deal with the camera quality difference between the Snapdragon vs Exynos version.

Performance of the camera has been improved, they say this every time and yet never specify what the improvements are. And frankly I never notice any difference

walkman8, 27 Apr 2021I'm not complaining about the extremely regular update... moreI think it has something to do the way Android is built that they have to rebuild half the stuff that doesn't change (and then retest it...). Its the reason they are trying to separate more and more stuff into separate services so they can be more easily updated via store. Also why some manufacturers are slow on updates.

I'm not complaining about the extremely regular updates, but why are those updates so hefty in size? They barely introduce any new features with them, the only larger was Portrait mode with telephoto lens.
