Overall profits wise PC is niche, and laptops are the way to go for companies as that's what making them earn.

It may take some years but most software I use works on M1 so I may move to Mac in the nbear future
A fanless laptop that has desktop level performance? it is kind of amazing. When the 8/16 high performance core CPUs come out x86 will be done.
Some of use use computers for image/video editing and/or 3D design so a better GPU is welcome; for gaming I rather have a console.

I can't wait for apple to make it's Mac os software more compatible with these new chips. The current software is still optimized for Intel and AMD PC chips.

N5P is only 10% faster and 5% better power consumption over N5 but can't wait to see Intel and AMD gets destroyed, hope the m2 is based on arm v9 , x86 need a boost to match performance windows need to boot Linux with a good win32 subsystem

Huaweo has been banned everywhere and most companies are prohibited to work with them and for them.
Wonder why China company TSMC allows to make CPUs for Apple.
There are tons of others brands they can make for for example Huawei or Xiaomi etc.

People want a product that just works. They don't want to mess with done virtual environment stuff. Only geeky tech guys do that. Normal users are going to reject a Mac for more familiar Windows laptop
