So they removed the biggest "impact" of the phone to join in the disgrace of the hole in the screen *facepalm*
Lately been thinking about buying a new phone and got excited when i saw the news about a new zenfone just to take a peak and be disappointed.
The main reason i would consider buying an Zenfone was because it didn't have the dammned hole, and i tought the flip camera module was cool

Either their PR department has lost its brain by showing such bezels on a teaser device, or it's simply a mockery of an existing compact device (Pixel 4a).
Anyways they seem to have done the job, everyone is talking about the Zenfone (though in a negative way, but hey it's great publicity if the device turns out to be better than the teaser).

I have no doubts that device with the punch hole is the mini. Just look where the side buttons are compared to the rest of the body.

Apple have notch, is ugly as hell and the rounded corners to wide make viewing so much cropped.
Android have tinu punch hole and more rectangular display. More taller Actually for better viewing 16:9 content so they don't get crop.
Apple removed charger but Xiaomi have two options while buying to still include it.
Thankfully there is mid-range segment with all features in a affordable price.
The point is they will never make something like as they made in the past.
They keep moving.
Please don't mad at me. I sometimes have carried away in conversation in forum like this.
But i never forcing people to follow my opinion.
To like my taste. Just like you, right?
And phone like poco f2 pro is actually I liked it but it got sd card slot removed so I skipped it.
There so much possibility in smartphones because they have so many choices. You just have to spend your hard earned money on a considerably Worth it for you.
And nobody's perfect, remember that.

It literally is made to point out how stupid modern smartphones are.
*The bezel was removed only because Apple tried something to have an argument against Samsung and Android copy it stupidly.
*The 3.5mm Jack was removed for the only reason to force sell accessories, and if people didn't actively use it, it would in facts have stayed as many other older norms stay.
*The charger was removed for Apple to sell accessories once again, because "strangely", the removal of the inbox charger match the time they add fast charging to their phone, what a strange coincidence.
One must be blind to not see the pattern here, that Apple is the kind of bad ideas and that Android manufacturers copy it anyway as it still sold a lot and there are many Apple wannabe that want to pretend they have an iPhone while not having one.

Seeing the possibility of SD 888 Plus, Zenfone 8 Flip / Zenfone 8 Pro might launch later with that processor. Maybe Zenfone 8 Compact is an attempt by Asus to complete with Mi 11x Pro / Iqoo 7 Legendary. I have a feeling this year the Zenfone is gonna be a lot cheaper, around the $500-$600 price mark.
