Dudenoway, 29 Apr 2021Poco f3=mi11x=redmi k40 Read again: AFAIK, no Mi phone has ever been rebranded as a Poco.
It was originally Redmi K40, before it became Poco F3. Actually, Mi11x came last.
You can try again, though. Maybe there was ACTUALLY a Mi-to-Poco rebrand I'm not aware of.

So, any brand should launch 5G smartphones with as many bands as possible.
Then there are BBK brands providing merely one band in IQOO 7 and Nord

Nice phone, but I will skip for next year as I have F3 already. F4 (or F5 if #4 skipped) GT will be my next phone.

Star, 29 Apr 2021I would buy it in a heart beat if it has SD870 chip in it, ... moreMy guess here is that they will try not to hurt their own sales, they have the F3 and BS4 with the 870, this one looks like the unrecognized love child of those two, using the 870 on it would either raise the price, or hurt sales for the other two, im guessing it would still do based off the launch price, not sure if thats the reason they will keep it China and looks like, India only, not sure whats the difference in offering it elsewhere, certification costs for every region? i dont know, but i like the design over the F3, i dont mind the extra buttons, i like the styling over the F3.

Im kind of liking the design better over the Poco F3, faster charge, screen seems to be better fitted to the body imo, i dont have a preference for the gaming related stuff like the shoulder buttons, but the phone seems to have a better price range with similar performance, and no silver ring around the front camera...cant wait for a direct comparison K40 Gaming vs Poco F3.

I would buy it in a heart beat if it has SD870 chip in it, while dimensity 1200 is similar in CPU performance it lags behind in GPU if anything else a gaming phone should have a good GPU
