Huawei's biggest market was China itself and then Europe. Huawei's Europe market might be eaten by free-for-all including Chinese OEMs, Samsung and Apple. Again, Europe market was not significant compared to China.

But that's not the point. Even if Huawei was no. 1 in sales, Samsung & Apple were not the one who benefited most from Huawei's downfall. So, stop singling them out.
Would Samsung lose money if Huawei became no. 1? It's just for bragging, important thing is how much they are selling.

It must solely be based on Hauwei's absence that their sales are so high.
