When will apple give me a numeric keypad on its keyboard?
I like iMac and iPad but being a financial mathematician, hve been forced to hunt a numeric keypad though I have HP envy
16gb RAM laptop superfast. But beside i use ipad and iPhone
But once there is macbookpro with numeric keypad. I go for it immediately.

I see reading this blog that most participants dislike macOS because Apple hardware is too expensive for them and some still use for reading this blog PC desktop computers in tower cases, like 20 years ago. So hard to save money, low salaries, highly expensive basic living makes us not wonder why sone cannot save money for Apple gadgets, not their fault, but the chance of being in that place and time.

It's technically better, but in practice, most users won't feel any improvements, so it's arguably not better for most users. It would have been nice if it had run macOS.

Super thin body across the board, bunch of brushed/bead blasted metal with warm pastel color options. I'm a PC user with a monolith looking black tower case, black monitor, black mouse and monitor. It looks fine, but nowhere near aesthetics and refinement of the iMac. I'm also the sort of person who fiddles with system a lot. The iMac is just to look nice and work with minimal user interaction.

despite you can't, because battery deteriorate, things get bended and screens get broken, etc.. and unlike laptops where you can at least change a battery quite easy and double its lifespan, apple do everything to make things fancy disposables. and yes - M1 is overkill, even for pro's. but M1 boost egos)

Practically, it's overkill for the v... moreThat’s why it’s called Pro, majority of people wouldn’t buy iPad Pro because it’s always been overkill for majority. I’m still rocking my 2017 iPad Pro 10.5” and this is still so fast and smooth. So if this new model is overkill you can bet you can use it like 5 years or more with that kind of power.
It’s also interesting to see how Apple or devs are going to use that power, will there be more desktop quality apps now. It would be perfect time to release real pro quality video editing apps for iPad with all that power.

Sure it's got "m1", it's very powerful and all, good for schools, home with kids, etc. But as a desktop for a grown working adult, I really see very few people using that. Oh and ofc u get 2x type C ports, rejoice!!

Windows is actually better and the trusted choice of 80 plus percent of the PC market.
Half the people haven't even heard about Mac OS and they want nothing to do with it either as Windows just works and has been an integral part of their lives.
