SA: Global 5G smartphone sales in Q1 2021 soar, Apple with 30% market share

Only GSM Arena using Strategy Analytics (?) have these smartphone sales figures. All others have the global figures almost the same as follows Samsung 22%, Apple 15%, Xiaomi 14%, Oppo 11%, Vivo 10% and all others at 28% (+/- 1%). I think the 30% Apple share is only in the US.

[deleted post]there are 2 forms of 5g, sub6 and mm wave , not all countries are mm wave compatible yet, and sub6 is the most compatible and viable...I agree it's not full speed 5g but it is still 5g
iphone 12 series does come with 5g activated , I know because I turned my 5g off

Tech on all platforms has a place, I still remember my old days of zx spectrum, typing in basic codes for silly screen effects, music and command line games.
Do I now hate zx spectrum now I use a windows 10 desktop ? no, it holds good memories.
Tech is a tool to help us communicate and share, explore and grow, so leave the brand loyalty behind and just use whatever you have or enjoy it.

An a... moreI use apple but don’t really download much myself, but I’ve noticed stuff like call of duty / pubg / etc use as low as iOS 9 , some apps only require iOS 8 , but quite a few require iOS 11 to 13 , but I’m not sure what your issue is if you don’t use or like apple.
