I'm not buying any new Smartphone till someone releases a "normal" Smartphone.

1. Not tablet sized (max 5.8")

2. No punch hole/tear drop...

Just replaced the battery of my 3 years old Smartphone and also bought an used XZ1 compact (got it super cheap).

The Redmi 3 and 4 and their Prime versions were 5 inch 16:9 phones with 4100mah batteries. Obviously they were slimmer and lighter than what this Zenfone Mini would most likely be. It's about priorities. They could provide one good quality camera lens instead of a quad one with 2mp lenses making up numbers. They could do away with wireless charging or any proprietary fast charging that would take up additional space. A side fingerprint reader instead of under the display will also save on componentary. They may not provide NFC or a 3.5mm jack. The Mini may come with an SD 780 than an 888 to do away with the extra cooling requirements. According to me, it'd be ideal if they provide NFC and 888 and compromise on the others to be a decent 'mobile' flagship.

Natural if there is a black background only the lit pixels than give colors will need to brighten

But my point was more so on a bases of the screen needing as much bright colors across the entire screen

I will research pentile more, energy efficiency was what I am aware of but ill re read

Another article on another website said 148 x 69mm, which is just a little bit smaller than the s21. So i probably will be choosing the S21 because of the Samsung brand...wait and see.
