it will be a shame if they indeed drop the flip mechanism..i was really close on getting the 7pro but hoped that the 8th version would upped the screen resolution and offer wireless charging as well...guess will wait and see what they will deliver next year..

Gives you same stability, fps and gaming experience. It's easy to see that you haven't tried to use oneplus. And tbh, the rog fan gives a weird feeling on the rog. Plus you can't use protective cover on rog, because of the fan. But ok, flat screen beats edged.

Okay! Lets see how Asus will go on its pride for retail price. If they dream as if they brand as apple price tag, then 99.99% am sure it will go as 'farewell' product in Indonesia. Poco F3 haa gone crazy since they frequently appeared in TV commercials (First time and ever, for entry level gaming phone).
So, I think Asus has gone much with its pride as they think theirs equal with apple price tag for this upcoming Zen8 compact.

I'm using ZF7 Pro, after upgrade to Android 11, very unstable, always freeze when I switch to home screen. That sucks!

The ui aesthetic is garbage and filled with bloat and ads even on flagships
Zen ui meanwhile doesn't ship with any bloat just gaming stuff on rog which are all useful and Zenfone is even more cleaner
Asus offers good features with no unnecessary bloat unlike other shit skins like oxygen os,one ui,miui etc
those other skins probably even have trackers and stuff "to monitor you usage" etc

Plus no fan
888 while playing intensive games needs the fan to keep temps under control
Oneplus 9 series is by far among the worst 888 contenders the amount of throttling,heating on that phone is pretty bad
And battery management is meh too with it's puny battery
There's just so much wrong with that phone
