I wonder if they are going to increase the maximum brightness from last year. Sure, iPhone 12 Pro Max's 822 nits figure is already plenty good, but Xiaomi has already gone 943 whereas Samsung's latest phone can comfortably reach 1000 nits in auto.

You need 60W to charge two battery at 30W since the input current is split between the two cells. If you can't even do high school maths properly I suggest you not to comment anything related to technology, at all.

Anonymous, 04 May 2021And you believe? LOL Chinese OEMs always lie. - One c... moreWhat a load of BS yet again from you. There have been 3 flagship phones with a free form UWA lens so far and two of them have 14mm equivalent FoV which is very close to iPhone and Galaxy's 13mm. The whole point of using free form lens is that it can bend the light in a way that the final image will be mostly from distortion (mainly barrel distortion), therefore the software lens correction will not have to be as drastic, which will in turn improve the sharpness of the final image.

Just for the comparison sake, here are the UWA shots from Xperia 1 II (16mm equivalent) and OP9 Pro respectively.
                        https://fdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/reviews/20/sony-xperia-1-ii/daylight/gsmarena_019.jpg
                        https://fdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/reviews/21/oneplus-9-pro/daylight/gsmarena_004.jpg
The difference in corner sharpness and the amount of chromatic aberration is very obvious and OP9 clearly wins out in those area despite using a much wider lens. Now go and keep crying in the corner until you're satisfied.

I can already smell that this is an absolute nonsense.

And batteries on Sony are one of the best.

they intentionally left out this feature last year as this is more valuable than the expensive, low benefit 5G.

                                - One claims to have distortion free UWA, but the output is about 6mm narrower. Clearly sign photo is cut and upscaled back to original resolution. EXIF data is proof. The distortion software correction would not change FOV that much.
                                - another was caught 3 times using Nikon Full frame to say it was from the phone.
                                - all them caught cheating on antutu.
                                - one of them caught sending user data without user knowledge to China, data from users outside data.
                                - fake moon photos from database instead of photos taken by phone.
                                - two batteries at 30W is not 60, it is 30W.
                                - one claims to record 8K with SD855, that does not support this mode.

OnePlus copied the notched design, made it smaller next year, then came the waterdrop notch and now we have punch hole display while Apple is still stuck with 2016 notch with 1500$ price tag.

This year is really good for Apple. Best phones, watches, tablets and laptops. Microsoft is still unmatched on desktop PC and console (Series X) though.
