[deleted post]Apparently there are people that don't give a frosted onion on your opinion about Xiaomi's phones.

I think Mi 11 Ultra is cheaper in India compared to US and UK.

Unless my geography is way way wrong, why does the article state that it reached the shores of Europe? I was always taught that Europe and Asia were a single land mass.
Are they using boats to ship from eastern China all the way around Africa and to Europe?
Wouldn't it make sense to use Trucks / Lorries / Caravans (whatever you call transport trucks over there).

wongwatt, 07 May 2021iPhone = iOS = No way Samsung = Exynos+bloat = No thanks ... moreBuggy software for Sony? I don't see a lot of such problem for Sony owners. I can somehow agree about camera software, so I have a high expectation for the new 1 Mk3/5 Mk3 with new chipset and a brand new periscope telephoto camera.

[deleted post]iPhone = iOS = No way
Samsung = Exynos+bloat = No thanks
Xiaomi = Gimmick + iffy OS = Nope
OPPO = less storage + worse cameras than last year = No
Sony = poor cameras + buggy software = No more for me
VIVO = bad OS + no Qi + price = pass
OnePlus = terrible experience with OP8 Pro = not for me
None of these options is any good, there are no good flagship phones again this year.

Anonymous, 07 May 2021MI 11 Lite 5G is priced very well. As far as people compla... moreRealme should produce snapdragon 780G device soon to compete with Xiaomi. It's been time for Realme. Realme didn't use snapdragon 732G/750G/765G yet on any of their smartphones. It's will be good how they perform on Realme UI 2.

Don't get it, this is clearly a gimmick phone and that gimmick makes it huge, heavy and extremely fragile.
I wish the Pro had better ultra wide and zoom cameras but as it is Xiaomi have not made the phone I was hoping for this year.

Anonymous, 07 May 2021MI 11 Lite 5G is priced very well. As far as people compla... moreS21 Ultra launched at €1249 in Europe, £1149 in the UK, whereas this is £1199 and €1199. It's only the Mi flagships Xiaomi rips the UK off with - the Mi 11 is also £749/€749.

Strangely, they convert properly for their cheaper phones - Redmi Note 10 Pro is €279 but only £249 in the UK, Poco X3 Pro is €249 but only £229 in the UK. What is going on at Xiaomi.

For comparison, in the UK we have S21 Ultra at £1149 (frequently on offer), S21+ at £999, iPhone 12 Pro Max at £1099, and Oppo Find X3 Pro at £1099 (though very competitively priced on contracts), and the OnePlus 9 Pro at £829. The UK seems to be one of the only markets where OnePlus priced right.

What hurts the most is the fact this phone costs just £680 in India.

MI 11 Lite 5G is priced very well.
As far as people complaining about MI 11 ultra price, the S21 ultra was around 200€ more expensive in UK compared to Europe.
So I am not surprised by the high price. But it's a premium phone, you have to shell out premium price for it.

I don't see the issue with the price, I mean Samsung , Huawei, iPhone and Sony have been at this price point for a bit now, I have an iPhone 12 after getting bored with my Google Pixel 3a XL and Samsung S10.
I am looking at getting either a Xiaomi or Oppo as my secondary none work phone....the Mi11U looks pretty nice to be honest, I just wish it came in yellow or red

Thanks for telling us about the sale in good time.

Man, people in UK really get screwed with their pricing
