It is encouraging to see android vendors are trying to resurrect the android tablet market with good devices. However, google should really do some backing. it is really interesting to see android 12 tablet version with some exclusive tablet features. may be a chromeos and android hybrid sort of a device

I hope Xiaomi don't disappoint. This needs to be better than the matepad 10.8 and the new matepad pro. Hard to beat but not impossible.

Mi daughters the Mi Pad 4 for years and it’s took some punishment, ok not so many updates but it’s still going strong which is more than I can say for a lot of other manufacturers tablets, I would definitely got for the updated version.

The web browsing specially is exhausting. All the safariums have either show stopping bugs and/or no ad blocker support, bad sync etc. As long as its not games tho, he memory magic management is very real, android only dreams of doing that. Thats why they get away with low RAM for most cases.

I still don't get the Android thing. Google launched its own tablets (Pixel Slate) on Chrome OS. Why would Xiaomi turn to Android instead?

Make around $300 budget 8" model with 1200 x 1920 res, MicroSD slot, and at least SD670 and feel free to go nuts with the pricing of the 2 other model.
It wont be funny if the go to cheap tablet with great screen now price at $500+
