But nothing in tech or in life can truly lasts forever. Analog TV and radio still does exist n some parts of the world though.

I'd kinda hate if 4G went away after 10 years too but I wouldn't be too affected by it. I upgrade my phone every 2 years. I rarely use a phone longer than that. And most phones I'll keep just for multimedia players. They're still plenty fast on Wi-Fi even 5 to 8 years later.

First time when I'm happy with exynos, ))

AlienKiss, 08 May 2021So what? If you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't wo... more4 years ago my uncle went through hell just because he's a "nobody" who got his identity and some assets stolen and used by an illegal alien who tried to enter the country under my uncle's identity and got caught, this illegal alien was deemed a national security threat so it was pretty serious.

All my uncle's assets got frozen, bank accounts, investments, you name it. He had to go through unimaginable lengths to straighten things out which took more that a year because everyone we talk to keeps telling us that because there's still an ongoing federal investigation that they couldn't do anything but comply, he almost lost his house just because all of his bank accounts were frozen and he couldn't pay his mortgage. The funny part is that he was banking with the same bank who he got his mortgage from so they definitely knew what was going on and why his account was frozen, well surprise surprise they didn't CARE! they said they still need his monthly payments.

Now he's a retired computer engineer who also worked in the fraud department of a prominent bank for 12 years before finally retiring, so he's not your average clueless old guy and yet he still fell victim to identity theft. why? it's all because of a security flaw in his home router that allowed these lowlife to eavesdrop on everything that goes through the network,
that includes e-mail, voice chat, fax and everything else that should've been secure and private.

Now do you think these human trash would've dared use his identity if my uncle was famous? No.
It's precisely because he's a "nobody" that he got targeted, and it makes it worse that the government, the banks and everyone else who we talked to didn't care that the ordeal was destroying his life. why? well most likely because he's a "nobody".

And why would you then patch it? This days is hard to have logic when there are so many conspiracy's floating in your head, right? The fact of the matter is, if they want to spy on you, there are way less aggressive methods the State in power can do, from flying drones to tracking your device if you are a target. As for mass espionage if there really is an official one as you claim, to just go to your carrier and collect all sim cards codes would make a lot more sense. With the codes they will be able to track everything, what you say, what you do, where you are. So why would they bother forcing backdores in codes that can be changed from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even patched, that can come out and drag attention and law suits?
