And because the market is saturated by TWS and BT Headphones. Only a handful would get a wired ones. Especially if that brand is a FiiO iRC-MMCX lightning cable.

Sony had a DAC on last year's Xperia and with the DAC being 40% louder this year, I have no doubt they're using a stronger one.
I just have to figure out how to make sure it's not the typical Android/Qualcomm converter doing the work. I'm sure some audio folks on XDA will figure this out or hopefully Sony can force their DAC with their 360 Audio or Dolby Atmos functions. I'm still a rookie in terms of FLAC audio but my ears are sensitive enough to actually hear the differences.

But bass isn't that good. I wanted to buy Sony MDR-ZX310AP. Blue one looks very cool. And it is better. It is cheap enough. You can buy it. But as I love bass I ordered Sony MDR-XB550AP. It is miles better but a bit more expensive. Also there are many gaming headphones available and they are cheap. Look for JBL headphones. If you have any questions tell me.

I also have over ear bass wireless headphones Skullcandy Crusher Evo. Also wired earphones Remax-RM535. They have bass too. And all of them are noise isolating. Also ordered very cheap earbuds Sony MDR-E9LP for using it on a bus. All in all I will have 5 headphones.

When it comes to electronics, rather than buying cheap one that you will need to replace within a year or came with so so quality that you will hunt for replacement within a year.
You be better off saving a bit more and get a quality product that is good and will last.
In longer time frame point of view, you will save money and be happy with the product you use.

Just curious if most of you really had the WF-1000XM3. I do have them along with the AirPods Pro.
The XM3 are slightly better than the AirPods in sound quality and noise canceling, but not not by much. And none of them make use of high resolution codecs so it won't make much of a difference.
Otherwise, the XM3 suck big time. I had them replaced three (3!) times in the warranty. They shutter a lot in public spaces with other wireless devices around on both quality/stability modes, they are bulky, on the heavy side, and easily fall out of the ear when say, you put on your mask or try to take your hat off- almost lost one earbud a couple of times. Plus, they're not waterproof, the case is bulky as well if you want to carry it with you. And the most annoying thing about them : I could not use them for phone calls because they suck so badly. The person on the other end will hear all the background noises except your voice, and all the three pairs I had replaced had the same issue. And I'm puzzled that most of the reviews don't even mention this, you'll only see people complaining about it on Amazon, reddit etc. They're supposed to be used for taking calls as well. This is pathetic from a brand like Sony, which I used to appreciate in the past. On the other hand, the AirPods are just great where the XM3 fails. They simply work, they're light and small, sound quality is great, overall great tws. And I'm using them with a Samsung phone- not an Apple user here, just to get a picture of it. And the XM3 used to be as expensive as the AirPods.
Unless Sony did a major revision with the XM4 to address all the issues XM3 has, these will fail as much as the XM3.

U'll miss the noise cancelling, great microphone, top sound quality just for a $50 tws? Yk those Amazon tws will broke down within a year. Plus, u have a Xperia 1 III which is a flagship. I'm sure u can spend some more for the accessories and not just selling the Sony tws for another cheap tws

Use that $300 to get TRI I3, accessories for the phone, TWS earbuds that are IP rated (saw a nice looking one on Amazon for $50 with Bluetooth 5.2 and IPX6 for just workouts; nothing fancy), and that way, I have money left over after all that.

Coming from a WF-1000XM3 user. Here's what I wanted to know about the WF-1000XM4.
1. Will it have a greater battery life even when the ANC is on?
2. Will it have a greater ANC than the XM3?
3. Will it come in different colors?
4. Will it have an IP rating?
5. Will it have a SPATIAL AUDIO as switchable feature?
