I'm coming from a long line of Nokia and ICS and above phones aren't really laggy at all. JB is even better but we really haven't seen any low end JB phones yet...but yes, low end gingerbread phones are yuck.
The thing that annoys me the most is the HVGA resolution screen. I would love to have nHD...
If Nokia made a Droid, I will buy it in a heartbeat..Windows phone is good and all but it really is a iOS competitor and not an android competitor. I need power and flexibility and only symbianand android have offered me that so far

With such rapid development paying extra for yesterday's tech must be frustrating. There is also the nice looking and gimmicky Ulysse Nardin phone brand building on Android 2.3, and selling 8000 of them in less than a week starting at 17.000 USD each... Probably a smarter strategy than building Vertu from scratch. In my view these expensive phones are almost purely status and expensive, bling materials, flaunting your wealth.

Actually you have to pay much more for that quality considering you can get a 701 for approx. Euro220. Even the Nokia 700 is a bargain considering the price tag of Euro 150 in some online stores now. The camera is not the best but overall both are great phones for 90% of the population.

It is faster than most androids with two cores because it's "light" OS.
I own one and also own some androids too. Please comment with proper knowledge.

wow this phone belongs to the power rangers... or just get the phone then put it to your belt then say rider change... oh its masked rider sorry :-)
