The g... moreFirst of all, how do you even know what he said when you're commenting this a day after the original comment I responded to was deleted for violating GSMArena's ToS, so surely that has to say something. And secondly, he was talking about radio waves emitted from a radio mast, which cannot kill instantly as he said they could. I also have said nothing about regular radio usage, radio waves just don't kill instantly which is what he said.

Its nice to see Xiaomi making progress to soon become a part of the us phone market. Im excited to see when they finally sell in the us. I WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST BUYERS! Im incredibly excited honestly! this is a start to the right direction! I want more phone variety! I am willing to invest into Xiaomi! Samsung's devices are good and all but I wanna see how good Xiaomi is, and what I was missing out on.

I too had some bad experiences with Xiaomi phones in the past. But I had bad experiences with other brands too. That's why I said no phone is perfect.
I think as a second phone, for gaming let's say, some Xiaomi models are not bad. And they are cheaper than other brands. As a primary phone (and only phone), I do not trust them that much. At least not yet.

I do not care where the brand is from, I do not have prejudice against other brands or countries.
Do not push your blind narrow minded view on others or forums like this....This may be a mainly English spoken website but people from around the world come here, and each with their own preferences to tech they like..

Many will be like that, but most only worry because they have a bitten apple behind, although that also happens with Samsung, people should buy something because they like it, not to maintain a status with people who probably do not care.
"Knowing how bad they all have in the long run, I wouldn't want to be disappointed. And be disappointed later."
You should try Google Pixel, it does not have the same amount of update as Apple, but as you said it has more features initially, so I don't think you will notice much, they are good phones, eliminating the Pixel 5 which was not expected

Fast speed charging yeah sure, battery life will deteriorate pretty quick..
Let them stay in Asia where Xiaomi belongs.

Imported the Chinese edition from TradingShenzen.
Everything works great complete with play services and gpay. You won't get 5g band support in the US, maybe on Verizon, check Kimovil for more info. European users don't have this problem.
I don't care about 5g as it's available in limited areas. 4g works fantastic. My job revolves around moving through rural areas, great connection speeds and coverage.

Huawei should never be unbanned. It's a miserable company that copied everything from Samsung and Apple, and they thought they would rule the phone market by doing so. Also the fact that they closed down the software on their phones proves one again that they don't want you to install custom ROMs and get rid of their spy-ware. I doubt that US would have forbidden installing Gapps on Huawei phones running LineageOS for example.
